Seen through the lens of my Half Moon Putney art residency, I look back at the past year for the live music industry.

Artist statements explain and contextualise an artist's body of work.  Stella Tooth produces uplifting drawings & oil paintings of people, particularly performers, but also of flora & fauna, which capture the spirit of her subjects. She also accepts portrait commissions. 

For me art is an act of expressing feelings, thoughts, and observations through accompanying words and picture.  And each portrait and performer artwork is a collaboration.
