These sweet lop-eared rabbits have been said to look like rams! This is why they are known as 'widder' in German, 'bélier' in French and 'ariete' in Italian. But sadly, their low-laying ears make them vulnerable to predators, so they must be kept safe as domesticated pets. The picture featured on this card originated as a commission by one besotted owner!
