Did you know? The brown hare is Britain’s fastest land mammal and can move at speeds of up to 40mph. They are solitary creatures and don’t burrow. Rather they create shallow resting places in fields called ‘forms’. ‘Mad as a March hare’ comes from the antics of hares during their breeding season. I just love their alertness, which is what I've tried to capture here.
