An oil painting inspired by the line: if you put your ear to the ground, all you can hear are doors slamming. A nuclear war pushes the population of Argia underground. Years later, a daughter unable to contain her curiosity about the surface, and the fate of her beloved father, finds her way to the outside. She breathes in lungfuls of non recycled air for the first time and, after a day searching, discovers her father's remains - one of many brave men who stayed behind to give their mothers, sisters, wives and daughters a chance to live. Sadly, her time above ground has sated her curiosity... but sealed her fate.
