A fiddle led four band playing Cajun dance music with a touch of western swing, Acadian Strings feature twin fiddles, guitar, and Carol Wilson on bass. The band plays traditional Cajun and Creole music laced with new compositions in the style. They also play some of the loveliest and saddest waltzes on the scene. I caught them at the wonderful Leigh on sea folk festival.
