A commission from a BBC friend of her family at a time when her children were preparing to leave home. Inspired by an annual holiday photograph taken in France, we recreated the pose in the family's back garden in spring. Once it was finished, and hung on the wall, she and her partner gathered friends for an unveiling where they could meet the artist.
