A nostalgic commission by the parents of Aimee and Ellie who suddenly found their daughters growing up fast. Given a childhood, colour source photo for inspiration, I drew them in black and white to create the impression of it being a past memory, one which the children might be too young to remember. The spot colour on the buckets, however, signifies the parents' own vivid memory of the moment.
