Police Dog Hogan fuse country, bluegrass and folk. Formed in 2008, they have five albums. Witnessed live at Putney's 220-capacity Half Moon, the eight-piece electrifies. Eddie Bishop (fiddle) and James Studholme (vocals) founded the band. I try to capture here the theatrical way Bishop plays violin.
