Bar Italia was established in Soho in the 1940s. More than coffee shop, it was a place to socialise and find work if you were unemployed. Those who lost family in WWII could get news. The Polledri family still owns it, preserving all the original detail. I'm proud my portraits drawings of their staff hang on its walls.
