Since 2009, thanks to his mechanical patent, Paolo Zanarella - the pianist out of place - has brought the half-tailed piano out of the usual entertainment venues and transformed even the strangest corners of a small town or large city into a theatre. I caught him on the cobbled streets of the decumano - the old Greek city of Neapolis in the heart of today’s Naples. Surrounded by the ubiquitous graffiti that you find in so many Italian cities nowadays, the cobbles and tags form part of my drawing of this extraordinary self-taught musician.
