Heidi Swedberg, a Hawaii native who began performing at age 5, was given her first ukulele at Easter. Over 30 years, she has seen success in music, film and TV, most notably for her role on Seinfeld. She introduced her partner Daniel Ward, a touring guitarist for Maria Benitez and Ottmar Leibert, to the ukulele, and he has since become known for Latin and world styles. I saw them at Half Moon Putney, where I'm Resident Artis, and wanted to capture them, and their bassist interacting with their instruments.
