Commission: Aimee and Ellie WIlliamson

At a time when her children were growing up fast, I was commissioned by Mel to draw her children Aimee and Ellie from a childhood photograph.

Wanting to give the impression of it being a past memory, one which the children might be too young to remember themselves, I portrayed them in black and white.  In contrast, their buckets are highlighted with spot colour, signifying their parents vivid memories of the moment.
