Portraits and propaganda
My final Art&Soul blog of the year for Skylark Galleries art collective is about portraits and propaganda.
It was inspired by a visit to a fascinating 'Faces of War' exhibition at the Illfracombe Museum back in the autumn.
Propaganda and art are both visual forms of communication but, of course, they have differing aims.

If you're interested in commissioning a portrait, Skylark Galleries has a number of portrait artists, like myself, working in various media. We aim to celebrate your, or the subject's, story and create an artwork that projects your image through time.
