½ day class at Victoria & Albert Museum, South Kensington tutored by Stella Tooth for beginners, improvers, those who have had a drawing break/just love to draw with others

Dates 2025: 2pm-5pm on: 

Saturday 1 February 2025 (afternoon)
1.40 for 2-5pm

Thursday 11 September (morning)
10.15am for 10.30-1.30pm

Saturday 29 November (afternoon)
1.40 for 2-5pm

What to expect:
This half-day class provides an opportunity to learn how to sketch.  Using the inspiring statues and casts of the V&A, it will help you quickly improve your observational drawing skills as you learn the mental processes that underpin them – how we convert a 3D image into a 2D image on paper through line and tone.  

You will learn:
- the basics of line, tone and scale
- shading for depth and atmosphere
- quality of line
- composition, materials
- techniques to help you loosen up

Cost:
You can book the class at £35 a half day.  Payment is in advance by bank transfer, after emailing stella.tooth@gmail.com to check availability.

Please note cost is non-refundable, unless due to the sickness/incapacity of tutor.

Maximum number to allow for individual tuition – 14 people.
