Students learn about drawing architecture and perspective at the V&A

Student architecture and perspective drawing at V&A. Tutor Stella Tooth
David Lomax drawing created on architecture and perspective workshop at V&A.
Very enjoyable morning this week spent teaching one point perspective and architecture in the inspiring surrounds of the V&A.
My four students - David Lomax, Alison Lawrence, Richard Wilson and Sonia Wilson, who managed to get in despite the tube strikes - beautifully conveyed depth of field using toned paper and soft white and black pencil.  With this method, the aim is to preserve the mid tone of the paper where relevant.
