Farewell to digital paintings of two of the fab four - sold via The People Hive

It’s always a joy to show my musician art and cards in Twickenham’s 'The People Hive', a learning disability charity whose local arts and crafts store provides commission income to support the charity and develop community engagement.
I’m thrilled that sales of two of my digital paintings - of Paul McCartney and George Harrison - were prompted by my display of digital paintings of three musicians with links to the local area - Roger Daltrey, Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton. Do pop in to see them in the frame!
Twickenham has a long history of blues and rock music. Although no longer a venue, The Eel Pie Island Hotel, is historically significant in its development.

And today the town has a vibrant music scene with venues like The Exchange, the Cabbage Patch Pub and the Eel Pie Pub hosting a variety of live music events, from acoustic sessions to larger concerts. Twickenham Stadium also occasionally hosts large-scale music events.
If you’re interested in the history of rock and blues music in Twickenham, do also make time to visit the fascinating Eel Pie Island Museum.
