Robins have never been hunted by man, making them a frequent visitor to our gardens. They often perch atop our forks as we take a pause, or trail us on the hunt for worms. Their delightful melodies accompany us throughout the year - no wonder, as they share a family bond with the nightingale. It's only fitting that our National Bird is the star of so many festive portraits as in this drawing.
